Twilight Lexicon, who's only role in the buzz business is to promote all things Twilight, Stephenie Meyer and Summit Entertainment, is ignoring Robert Pattinson's new movie Water For Elephants like it is the plague. I swear it's true. I've been watching. It, to my knowledge, hasn't even been mentioned on the site and frankly, I have to wonder why?
If I were to make an assumption way out on a shaky limb, I'd swear that they are getting some sort of kickback from someone. Fox is producing WFE and I believe this is why. Were they told not to? Do they have an agreement with Summit not to promote other studio pictures or be cut off from monetary support thereby making the "ladies" unable to jet all over the fucking world to attend all those conferences, which right now are basically repeats of the conferences after last years comic con. I mean, it is the same faces, same questions, same hope that Mike Welch does another karoke and invite I-can't-remember-which-one-of-them up to help him out. This bunch is either going for Twilight sainthood or a big raise in contributions.
CBA on the other hand has been posting all the pictures that they can get their hands on from the WFE shoot. They are all over the internet anyway and isn't it amazing that Fox has yet to issue and C and D order to take all those unofficial pictures down? Guess they don't realize that they are losing control of all things WFE!!!! Or perhaps they take the view that publicity that they don't have to pay for is a good thing. Gee, why didn't Summit think of that?
At any rate I have decided that I'm officially taking the TwiLex I have parked in my favorites file out. Just can't abide them any longer. If it doesn't self-serve them, then to hell with them.
